Understand the difference between clearing the active image, closing a tab, browser caching and deleting downloaded PNG files.
What Clear photo does
In the background remover, Clear photo removes the selected image and result from the active page state and stops any current task. You can then choose another image. It does not send a delete request for a server copy because this tool does not upload or store the photograph on ToolNivo's server in the first place.
Downloads are separate files
A PNG you downloaded is now a file managed by your device or browser. Clearing the webpage does not remove that file from Downloads, a photo library or a folder where you copied it. Delete unwanted exports using the relevant file manager. Likewise, the original source remains wherever you selected it from; removal and export do not overwrite it.
Distinguish model cache from photos
The browser may cache scripts and AI model files so later visits can load them more efficiently. Those are shared processing assets, not a stored history of your selected pictures. Browser download records, extensions, backups and device screenshots are outside the application's image-state controls.
On a shared device, review downloaded files and close the tab when you finish. Do not promise another person that pressing Clear photo erases all traces across the operating system or browser. It clears this tool's active work, while broader device privacy depends on the device's own settings and the other applications involved.
