Open PDF to WordHow to convert PDF to Word
Select a PDF that contains selectable text and press Convert to Word. The tool reads its text in your browser and creates a DOCX. Review the preview, download the document and open it in a compatible word processor.
Edit the words you need
Use the result as a starting point for revising a letter, copying notes or reusing ordinary paragraphs. Lines become editable paragraphs. A page break separates each source page, but Word may wrap text differently and produce a different page count.
Keep control of your files
Your browser downloads the converter code and handles the PDF locally. No PDF or extracted text is submitted to a conversion service. Reset or close the page to clear the working state; downloaded documents remain on your device.
PDF TEXT TO WORD
What to expect.
Does it keep the original PDF design?
No. This version exports text into a simple editable Word document. It does not reproduce pictures, table cells, columns, original fonts or exact spacing. Check reading order and format the document in Word afterward.
Can it convert a scanned PDF?
Only when that PDF already includes a readable text layer. Image-only scans require OCR, which this tool does not perform. If no text is found, it shows an explanation instead of creating an empty document.
What happens to pages without text?
For a mixed document, the tool reports the pages without selectable text. Those pages contain no extracted text in the DOCX. Inspect the source PDF to make sure you do not miss information shown only in pictures.
Does it support Arabic?
It can extract Arabic when the PDF has a usable text layer, and marks detected right-to-left paragraphs accordingly. Complex shaping, mixed-language lines and reading order can require corrections. Check the output against the original.
Why are some words missing or scrambled?
A PDF may store characters in an unusual order or use font encodings that do not map cleanly to text. Selecting words in a PDF reader is a useful first check, but does not guarantee perfect conversion. Use the original document where accurate layout or wording is essential.
Can I convert Word back to PDF?
Yes. Use File to PDF for supported DOCX files. For large PDFs, first extract a smaller page range with Split PDF.
