Merge PDF documents locally, arrange whole files in order and check the combined page count before downloading a single document.
Gather the source documents
Choose the PDFs that belong in the combined document and open them individually before merging. Confirm that each is complete and that you have selected the correct revision. A merger cannot determine whether two similarly named files contain the same or different information.
ToolNivo Merge PDF accepts up to 20 files, each no larger than 30 MB, with a 100 MB combined selection limit and a maximum of 500 combined pages. Password-protected, encrypted and damaged files are not supported.
Select and arrange the files
Open Merge PDF and choose at least two PDFs. The list shows their filenames and page counts. Add more documents if needed, then drag them into order or use Move up and Move down.
Each file contributes all of its pages in their existing internal sequence. If you need only part of one document, extract those pages with Split PDF first. The merge tool does not provide individual page deletion inside the selected files.
Create the combined PDF
Select Merge PDFs and wait for the download to become available. The operation copies pages into a new PDF rather than converting every page into a photograph. Ordinary selectable page text can therefore remain selectable.
Document-level features need additional care. Bookmarks, forms, attachments, accessibility structure and digital signatures are not guaranteed to survive the merge. Keep the originals if those features are important, and verify the output in the application where it will be used.
Review the saved document
Open the downloaded PDF and compare its page count with the sum of the source files. Inspect the last page of one document and the first page of the next to confirm the joining order. If you change the file list after generating a result, merge again before downloading the updated copy. Reset clears the tool's working selection but leaves all saved files on your device.
