Resize images to specific dimensions
Use custom width and height to prepare a photo for a page, listing or design. Keeping the aspect ratio prevents stretching. Resizing changes the pixel dimensions; it does not recover detail when enlarging a small original.
How to resize your image
Choose a supported photo, enter a width or height and leave Preserve aspect ratio enabled to keep its proportions. Turn it off only when you deliberately want a stretched result. Choose JPEG, PNG or WebP, select Resize image and inspect the preview before downloading.
Choose an export format
JPEG is useful for photographs and replaces transparency with white. PNG keeps transparency and sharp graphics, but may create a larger file. WebP can keep transparency when your browser supports its export. Your source file remains unchanged.

Common questions.
Which dimensions are supported?
Use whole-number dimensions from 1 to 8,000 pixels, with no more than 24 million output pixels. Selected images may be up to 15 MB and 24 megapixels.
Does resizing crop my image?
No. The full image is scaled to the chosen dimensions. Disable the aspect-ratio option only if stretching is acceptable. Use Scan to PDF to manually crop a photographed document.
Is my image uploaded?
The tool reads and resizes your image in the browser. Its code makes no image-upload request and does not keep an image history.
