Organize editable cutout assets separately from flattened delivery images so future background changes remain straightforward.
Save two purposeful files
A transparent master contains the subject without a fixed scene behind it. A finished version includes the chosen white or colored background and any outline. These are different deliverables. Save the master before experimenting with final presentation so you do not need to repeat removal later.
Use descriptive names such as speaker-cutout-transparent.png and speaker-card-blue.png. Include a date or revision when it helps distinguish changes. The goal is clarity, not a complicated naming system that makes routine files difficult to find.
Preserve the real original too
The transparent master still reflects the model's selection and ToolNivo's output size limit. It is not a replacement for the full original photograph. If a missing detail becomes important later, you need that source to repair the mask. Keep the source, transparent master and final deliverable together in a project folder.
Test reuse before archiving
Place the master on both a light and dark background in an editor. Note any edge limitations that could affect future work. A cutout acceptable for a small white card may not work on a dark poster without refinement. Send collaborators the version appropriate to their task and explain which is the reusable asset. If they need to add text or change the scene, a transparent file usually offers more flexibility than a flattened image with your chosen background already baked in.
