Review portrait cutouts for missing hair, pale halos and unnatural boundaries before using them in a finished design.
Start with visible hair detail
Hair contains solid regions, fine strands and partially transparent edges. A lightweight foreground model may keep the main hairstyle but lose individual flyaways. Choose a sharp photograph with enough contrast between the hair and its surroundings. Motion blur or a dark background behind dark hair makes the original boundary less clear.
Inspect more than the face
After removal, compare the crown, ears, shoulders and loose hair with the original. View the cutout on white and on a dark custom background. A bright fringe can appear where pixels originally mixed hair color with a light wall. The tool changes transparency but does not fully reconstruct the uncontaminated color of every strand.
For a small speaker portrait, retaining the recognizable hairstyle may matter more than every flyaway. For a large beauty photograph, the same cutout may need detailed manual masking. Decide at the final display size, not only at the fitted preview size.
Know when to change methods
Do not repeatedly process the exported cutout in the hope of recovering missing strands. The removed detail is no longer available in that file. Return to the original or try a better source. ToolNivo has no manual hair-refinement brush, so important edge repairs require another editor. Keep a transparent master and add the final background only after the silhouette is acceptable.
