Prepare Arabic TXT files for PDF conversion, check encoding and right-to-left presentation, and verify numbers, punctuation and mixed-language text.

Separate encoding from presentation

Two different problems can affect Arabic text. Incorrect decoding can turn characters into replacement symbols or unrelated letters. Incorrect layout can leave the correct characters in an awkward reading order. Fixing one does not automatically fix the other.

Start with a text file that reads correctly in your editor. ToolNivo supports UTF-8 and UTF-16 with a byte-order mark. Its text workflow uses fonts available on your device, so the appearance can vary between systems. A missing character box is a reason to review the output rather than assume conversion succeeded perfectly.

Use a small representative sample

Before converting a long document, try a short sample containing an Arabic sentence, a number, punctuation and any English words used in the real file. This gives you a concrete way to evaluate the result without reviewing dozens of pages first.

For instance, include the type of date or reference number that matters in your document. Numeric sequences, parentheses and Latin product names deserve attention in a right-to-left paragraph. Do not reverse the characters manually to make one preview look correct; that can damage the underlying text and produce a different problem elsewhere.

Inspect the rendered and saved pages

Select the TXT file, convert it and read the preview in its intended order. Check the beginning and end of each wrapped line. A long Arabic paragraph and a mixed-language line may wrap differently from the original editor because the available width and fonts differ.

Download the PDF and reopen it on the device where it will be used. The direct output contains images of the rendered pages, which preserves that visual rendering but does not provide selectable Arabic text. It does not repair a rendering error already visible in the preview.

Choose another workflow when precision matters

Try Print / Save as PDF if text selection is required, then test both appearance and copied text. For official forms, complex mixed-language layouts or documents needing accessible reading order, prepare and export the document in a word processor with suitable language support. Keep the original text as the source for corrections.
